Plesk mailman setup – Unable to execute listmng utillity: listmng

A server with Plesk 10.4.4 (RedHat) when going through the control panel and trying to set up the mailing list, I would receive the following error after entering an email address and password:

Unable to execute listmng utillity: listmng: Error: cannot create new list: is Mailman configured properly?.

I went ahead and found out that the host name of the server was incorrect. After changing the host name to a location that would resolve and making it a valid FQDN (ex. => Primary IP) I was able to set up mailman without issue.
